The ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is an officially confirmed international cricket Tournament ,which is organised by International Cricket Council (ICC). It Will be tenth edition of the ICC Men’s t20 World Cup, co-hosted by Board of Control Of Cricket In India and Sri Lanka Cricket .
Tournament will Start From 7th March 2026 to 8th March 2026.It Will Played in the Twenty20 International format, Where each gets 20 overs in a match . It Will feature 20 International Teams ,as confirmed by the ICC. It is one of the most Popular Cricket Event in the World.

The icc has officially announced that the t20 men’s World cup co-hosted by the India and Sri Lanka . Both the Countries are Full members off the icc and have experience in hosting major International Cricket Events. Hosting the Tournament in these two Cricket loving nations highlights the importance of Asian region in global Cricket .
All the matches will be played at icc – approved international Stadium , which is located across the Indian and the Sri Lanka. These venues meet International Standard for Players safety and other things like broadcasting and Spectator Facilities . the final list will be officially announced by the icc tournament.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND STRUCTURE
The icc’s Men’s t20 World Cup 2026 will follow the official icc tournament format used in recent editions. The Tournament will be played at multiple levels to ensure the fair Competition among all teams. teams will Complete in the Group stages, where they will play the matches within the Assigned groups .
According to their performance , selected teams will qualify for the super 8 level, which feature stronger competition. From the Super 8 stage , top teams will advance to the semi final . the winners of the semi finals will play the final match. each teams have 20 overs per side under the rules of icc .
