INDIA VS SOUTH AFRICA – 3RD ODIs
INTRODUCTION
The 3rd Match Between the India and south Africa was the final and deciding match of the IND VS SA ODIs Series. The Match was played on 6th December 2025 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vishakhapatnam, India. there was large number of cricket fans came to watch this exciting match . this match was most important for both the team because it was the last of the match of IND VS SA ODIs Series. The coin was tossed ,south Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. They chose batting first because they want to score a big total and put pressure on India. the Pitch looked good and best for both batting and balling also weather was clear .India entered in the match with full of confidence ,while South Africa wanted a strong performance to win the series.
INDIA’S BATTING
India’s batting performance in the IND VS SA FINAL against the south Africa showed complete dominance . India’s performance was outstanding . South Africa score was 270 runs and India have to chase a score of 271 runs. Indian Players played with confidence , patience and clear planning from the beginning of the inning. batters looked calm and focused and they never allowed pressure to build . India remained in control throughout the match
India opened their inning with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma. they did not try to score very fast in the early overs but both focused on the rotating the strikes and playing very safe. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma both batters gave the team a strong and steady start. Rohit Sharma Played a good game and scored 75 runs off73 balls. he showed his shot in the match and reduced the pressure from the team . His inning help India to stay ahead of the require runs rate and put pressure on the bowlers.
Yashasvi Jaiswal played magnificent inning of the match and become star of the match . he shoed great maturity and patience for a young players. Yashasvi played with responsibly and avoid to risky shots and waited for the balls to score boundaries . he handled both types of bowlers ,fast bowlers and the spinners with ease and shoed his controlled in the inning . he Scored a good score 116 not out off 121 balls , which became the backbone of the match. The opening partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma was a key role in the whole match .they did not loose their early wickets, which was important to chase a target.
After Rohit Sharma got out , Virat Kohli came and showed his class and experience . Virat Kohli played a calm inning of 65 runs not out off 45 balls. he is focusing on rotating the sticked and finish the match safely. overall, India’s batting was disciplined ,smart and well planned. the batters shoed excellent teamwork and understanding between the match and handled the situation of the match . India reached the target in 39.5 overs, losing only one wicket of Rohit Sharma .

Kuldeep Yadav was star bowler of the match for India,
He bowled for 10 overs and took 4 wickets in the middle of the overs . he completely sloed down the south Africa scoring .
Prasidh Krishna supported brilliantly with pace,
His Wickets came at the crucial times and broke important partnership of south Africa . he took 4 wickets and conceded 66 runs .
Arshdeep Singh took only 1 wicket and kept pressure in the early overs
Ravindra Jadeja bowled in the middle of the overs , took 1 wickets and controlled the run flow of the south Africa

SOUTH AFRICA’S BATTING
South Africa batted first in the 3rd ODI against India and scored a big total for India . their batting performance started well but could not maintain till the end of the game.
At the top of orders, Quinton de Knock played an magnificent inning and was the backbone of the south Africa’s batting. He scored a brilliant 106 runs off 89 balls showed his excellent timing and confidence. Quinton de knock played aggressively when needed and rotated the strike well. He handled both Indian pacers and spinners comfortably and kept the runs moving.
his century gave hope to south Africa to chase a big total.
Temba bavuma played a steady inning of 48 runs off 67 balls. he focused on building a partnership and played cautionly, which help south Africa to stabilize in the early overs. In middle order, Rassie van der dussen scored 32 runs off 41 balls, but he could not stay long a the crease . Aiden Markram Struggled against the Indian bowlers and only scored 18 runs off22 balls. Heinrich Klassen tried to play some attacking shots but unfortunately scored only 24 runs off 19 balls , he also got out too quickly . David miller . who is known for his finishing ability, could not make a big impact and scored 16 runs off 14 balls
others batters are also failed to score a big runs . Marco Jansen scored 10 runs off 9 balls , while Keshav Maharaj scored 6 runs off7 balls . they could not handles India’s bowling attack , wicket kept falling at regular intervals.
